The PXIe-6547 (Part Numbers: 781011-01, 781011-02, 781011-03, and 199552B-02L) PXI Digital Waveform Instrument has a maximum clock rate of 100 MHz in single data rate (SDR) mode and 200 MHz in double data rate (DDR) mode. This Digital Waveform Instrument has 32 bidirectional channels. The device is equipped with advanced synchronization capabilities to construct integrated mixed-signal test systems and digital timing features per bank. It is capable of sampling digital waveforms up to 100 MHz in SDR mode and up to 200 MHz in DDR mode, allowing it to establish interfaces with user-programmable voltage levels that have a resolution of 100 mV for generation and 50 mV for acquisition. The NI PXIe-6547 also supports hardware comparison for bit error testing and high-precision digital timing per bank.
The PXIe-6547 module features enhanced timing and synchronization capabilities. The onboard direct digital synthesis (DDS) clock provides subhertz resolution up to 100 MHz, allowing users to clock data (generation or acquisition) with higher accuracy without requiring an external clock. The user can achieve applications for arbitrary clock frequencies with this instrument. The PXIe-6547 supports shared clocks over the PXI backplane or via an SMA connector on the front panel, and the user can import an external clock through the front panel or backplane. With these features, the PXIe-6547 can synchronize with other analog or digital instruments. This module is based on Synchronization and Memory Core (SMC) technology, enabling sub-nanosecond resolution for synchronized multi-device systems in a PXI Express chassis.
