National Instruments PCIe-1473R Image Acquisition Device

The PCIe-1473R (Part numbers: 781585-01 and 782849-01) is a Camera Link Frame Grabber Device developed by National Instruments. This model is applicable for deployment systems. The PCIe-1473R is structured with a user-programmable Virtex-5 LX50 FPGA system. It provides help with image processing. The NI PCIe-1473R is capable to uphold about 80-bit, 10-tap image acquisition. This feature withstands for Camera Link 1.2 standard cameras. The frequency range of the clock for the device ranges from 20 MHz to 85 MHz. It also has an available bandwidth range up to 850 MB/s. This bandwidth range is over Two Camera Link cables.  This device is a cost-effective Camera Link device. It is also workable with or without PoCL cables. These cables help provide power to cameras.

The National Instrument PCIe-1473R is viable for systems that require high-throughput. These systems are widely used for imaging in medical procedures. It is also applicable in food sorting and semiconductor wafer alignment. It has further usage in many applications like flat panel presentation review. The NI PCIe-1473R is a much better alternative of the NI-1483 Camera Link Adapter Module. It is also an excellent replacement for the FlexRIO prototyping platform.

The National Instrument PCIe-1473R has built-in driver software called NI-IMAQ and NI-RIO. These drivers provide support to base, full, medium, and extended full adjustment Camera Link cameras. It has an optional Digital I/O Expansion Card. This card can be used for extra triggering. The NI PCIe-1473R has two 26-pin MDR connectors, which help deliver high-frequency transfer rates between the NI PCIe-1473R and the camera.
