National Instruments PCIe-7856R Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Device

The PCIe-7856R is a Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Device. The National Instruments PCIe-7856R is manufactured to be utilized in numerous applications. The part number of the PCIe-7856R is 786455-01. The National Instruments PCIe-7856R comes with a fully user-programmable Kintex-7 160T FPGA. To achieve fine performance in on-board processing and direct control of input/output signals, the PCIe-7856R Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Device has eight analog inputs, eight analog outputs, and 48 DIO. The eight analog inputs can be operated in any of the three modes: NRSE, DIFF, or RSE modes. The eight analog outputs are single ended output channels with a resolution of 16 bits. AO (analog output) safety is provided through the integrated short circuit to ground protection.

The PCIe-7856R is simple to customize with an FPGA module and LabVIEW software. This customization is required in developing critical applications, such as sensor simulations, high speed control applications, protocol communications, etc. The NI PCIe-7856R possesses features of multi rate sampling and single channel triggers. The data acquisition rate of the National Instruments PCIe-7856R is 1 MS/sec.

The PCIe-7856R Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Device complies with EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) requirements. This provides safety against any dangerous activity. The NI PCIe-7856R analog input accuracy is effective immediately after internal device calibration. Calibration is recommended at 1-year intervals. The user should ensure the National Instruments PCIe-7856R is being used within 10 °C of the previous external calibration.
