Featuring a Kintex-7 XC7K325T FPGA, the NI PXIe-7971R (Part Number: 782953-01) is a National Instruments FPGA Module in PXIe form-factor. This module is designed to operate with FlexRIO using channels configured in modes that are single-ended, differential, or a combination of both. In single-ended mode, the PXIe-7971R can send/receive signals through the 136 channels at transmission rates up to 400 megabits per second. The robust FPGA integrated into this module has an embedded block RAM of 16,020 kbits. It also boasts 203,800 LUTs and 840 DSP48 slices.
The 40 MHz default timebase in the XC7K325T FPGA offers a maximum timebase accuracy of ±100 ppm. The NI PXIe-7971R is offered in x4 PXIe form-factor and is compliant with the specification version 2.1 and can be deployed in x4 PXIe slot, x8 PXIe slot, x16 PXIe slot or PXIe hybrid slot. This module consumes around 3 amperes of current in standard operating conditions and while operating at +3.3 VDC (±5%).
