National Instruments REM-11154 Digital Module for Remote I/O
The NI REM-11154 (Part Number: 784744-01) is a 24 V, 32-Channel Digital Module designed for NI remote I/O. This module offers connectivity through EtherCAT and can be controlled from a real-time controller or an industrial controller. EtherCAT is a widely used industrial Ethernet standard that can be used for connectivity between your existing higher-level system and remote I/O system. You can create a remote I/O system by using different or similar remote I/O modules and control it through your existing PLC controller or CompactRIO Controller.
The National Instruments REM-11154 Digital Module for Remote I/O has a wide operating temperature range of -25 °C to 60 °C. Thus, the module can be deployed in outdoor and harsh industrial environments.
With this module, you will be able to achieve deployment quickly, since it comes with spring-terminal connectors. The National Instruments REM-11154 Digital Module for Remote I/O and its counterparts have evolved as a low-cost alternative to other control options where many expensive controllers are deployed. This module can easily be utilized for the construction of a secure control and measurement system where simple automation is required.
The NI REM-11154 has 32 input channels which require a nominal input voltage of 24 VDC to operate. The inputs of this module operate linearly unless reaching the nominal current threshold. The input voltage range is split so the input voltage between -3 to 5 VDC is considered as “0” and 11 to 30 VDC is considered as “1.” The REM-11154 has an input filter operates with a default time setting of 3000 μs.
