National Instruments SCC-A10 Voltage Attenuator Module

The SCC-A10 (Part Number: 777459-06) is a Voltage Attenuator Module manufactured by National Instruments. The instrument comes with the capability to attenuate voltage by a factor of 10. This model is equipped with a combination of valuable features and performance capabilities. There are two input channels with a differential instrumentation buffer. The input voltage range is ± 60 VDC, while the input impedance is one mega ohm. It has a bandwidth of 10 kHz. The minimum value for common-mode rejection ratio is 60 DB. These specifications enable the user to fulfill various testing requirements. The device has an analog power requirement of 100 mW max, 3.2 mA max at +15 V and -15 V, and a digital power requirement of 0.0 mA. To setup the SCC-A10, a couple of hardware are required such as a SCC-68 or SC-2345/2350, one or more SCC-A10, a 68-pin E/M series DAQ device, among others.

The National Instruments SCC-A10 Voltage Attenuator Module incorporates the E/M series DAQ. The instrument comes with amazing dynamic response capabilities. The built-in bias resistance offers a high impedance, which enables the user to connect floating or ground-referenced inputs and does not require any external bias resistance. The instrument also comes with a useful feature for protection against overvoltage, as well as a feature to protect DAQ systems for input signals up to 60 VDC. The National Instruments SCC-A10 Voltage Attenuator Module supports cascading for other SCC modules, which further enhances the operational capabilities of the instrument. The device is equipped with one 20-pin right-angle male connector and one 4-pin screw terminal I/O connector.

The National Instruments SCC-A10 measures 3.55 W x 7.93 L x 1.87 D centimeters in physical dimensions, and weighs 29 grams. The instrument has the operational temperature range from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, and a storage temperature range of –20 to 70 °C. The NI SCC-A10 Voltage Attenuator Module also fulfills standard safety specifications, which includes IEC 61010-1, EN 61010-1, and many others. The instrument supports electromagnetic compatibility and is recommended to be operated with shielded cabling. The NI device is run using the latest version of the NI-DAQmx software.
