National Instruments FPM-1017 Flat Panel Monitor
The NI FPM-1017 Flat Panel Monitor is best for PXI systems, which includes PXI embedded controllers, as well as the PXI-835x rack-mount controllers. The FPM-1017 was developed by National Instruments. The NI FPM-1017 has the part number 779559-01. After adding a mouse and keyboard, this Flat Panel Monitor is perfect for developing PXI applications. The keyboard and mouse can be connected via USB.
The NI FPM-1017, a 17 in. flat panel monitor with bright colors and great resolution, connects to PXI controllers with Windows 2000/XP operating systems through a standard VGA port. The FPM-1017 is also compatible with Windows 2000/XP computers that are VGA-compatible. The NI FPM-1017 has an LCD Active Matrix Flat Panel Display (TFT) and display resolution of 1280 × 1024 with a contrast ratio of 450:1. The NI FPM-1017 has 16.7 million colors with the pixel pitch of 0.264 mm, while the range for the refresh rate is 56 Hz to 75 Hz.
The FPM-1017 has a VGA analog input connector for the video input and does not have an audio output connector. This Flat Panel Monitor additionally comes with a D-Sub 15-pin for external connections. The FPM-1017 is compatible with PC and Mac, but an adapter may be required for Mac. The NI FPM-1017 Flat Panel Monitor has a built-in power supply with an input of 100 to 240 VAC (50/60 Hz) and has the power consumption of 48 W. The NI FPM-1017 is an approved and certified CE marked product.
FPM-1017 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Flat Panel Monitor will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
