National Instruments part number 777432-01 is an identifying part number for the VXI-1200, a FlexFrame VXIbus Mainframe with 9 Slots, Power consumption of 1440 W and Input Voltage Range of 90 to 250 VRMS The NI 777432-01 can hold up to six C-size VXI modules and up to three B-size VME or VXI modules. It is VXIplug&play compatible and meets the VXIbus Specification Revision 1.4 standards. This VXIbus Mainframe can use a plug-in Personality module to configure the B0 or C0 slot as the mainframe VXIbus Slot 0 location. The 777432-01 backplane uses active-automatic VME interrupt acknowledge and bus grant daisy chaining, eliminating the need for manual backplane switch settings or jumpers.
Its AC input is auto-voltage and auto-frequency ranging, so no voltage selection switch is needed. It provides the necessary cooling air for your application, with fan speed control to reduce the noise levels of its high-performance cooling system. This device can be used with an adjustable rackmount for different rack-mounting configurations. Its modular design makes the VXIbus Mainframe almost wireless. This FlexFrame VXIbus Mainframe features high MTBF and low MTTR.
The NI 777432-01 includes fans with speed control to reduce acoustic noise. It complies with the safety protocols of EN61010-1 and meets EMI standards, being FCC Class A Verified and EC certified. The distribution of the CLK10 reference clock is fully differential, ensuring a low skew timing source. Power is supplied to the backplane directly from the power supply, eliminating the need for wiring and sub-backplane interconnect boards. This design enhances reliability and improves dynamic current performance. National Instruments has declared Obsolete Status for the 777432-01, however, it is still available for purchase at the Apex Waves Website.
