Up to 16 single-ended or 8 differential channels with a resolution of 16 bits can be supported by the device for analog input. For single-channel acquisition, it offers a sample rate of up to 1.25 MS/s, while for multi-channel acquisition, it can reach 1.00 MS/s. Precise and dependable measurements are guaranteed in many applications with a timing resolution of 10 ns and an accuracy of 50 ppm of the sample rate. It can accommodate a wide range of signal amplitudes with an input range that extends from ±0.1 V to ±10 V.
For analog triggering, the device offers flexibility with various trigger sources and modes, including analog edge triggering, edge triggering with hysteresis, and window triggering. Two 16-bit channels with a maximum update rate of 2.86 MS/s are available for signal delivery in the analog output section. The output range offers flexibility in signal production, spanning from ±10 V to ±external reference on APFI 0.
The device provides 24 channels of digital I/O, each of which can be programmed as an output or an input and has input voltage protection up to ±20 V. In order to enable exact coordination in complex systems, synchronized activity between several devices is facilitated via the device-to-device trigger bus.
The device also has NI-STC3 timing and synchronization technology, which enables sophisticated timing features like retriggerable measurement tasks and independent analog and digital timing engines. For rigorous industrial settings, this guarantees precise time control and synchronization.
To simplify the setup and use of the device, the 781048-01 comes equipped with the NI‑DAQmx driver and configuration utility.
