National Instruments 781056-01 PXI Multifunction I/O Module
The National Instruments 781056-01 PXI Multifunction I/O Module is part of the PXIe-6363 Model series.It is intended for high-performance control and data acquisition in industrial automation applications.
By combining analog input/output, digital I/O, and counter/timer functions, this multifunction I/O module provides an extensive feature set. It boasts a resolution of 16 bits and a maximum sampling rate of 2 MS/s per channel. It supports both single-ended and differential setups and has 32 analog input channels.
For analog output, the module provides four channels with 16-bit resolution, capable of generating waveforms with a maximum update rate of 2.86 MS/s for a single channel. It also has flexible synchronization and timing features, such as sophisticated trigger choices for exact control over measurement operations.
The 781056-01 module has 48 digital I/O channels, each of which has programmable direction control that can be selected individually for each terminal. Not only does it have edge counting, pulse width, and frequency division capabilities, but it also has general-purpose counters.
A variety of applications can operate with accuracy and dependability due to the module's inbuilt NI-STC3 timing and synchronization technology. Its PCI Express interface makes use of high-throughput data transfer, and measurements and setup are made simpler by the NI-DAQmx driver and configuration software.
Featuring a number of input/output options and coupling options to suit a variety of signal requirements, the 781056-01 is designed to be flexible. Along with pull-down resistors for strong signal handling, it also offers protection against overdrive.
The module can be used in PXI Express hybrid slots or x1 and x4 PXI Express slots because of its small form size that complies with PXI Express standards. Integrating it into current automation systems is simple, and it provides dedicated DMA channels for speedy data transfers.
