National Instruments 765530-01 Terminal Block

The 765530-01 from National Instruments is an adaptable Terminal Block that allows users to connect and utilize various plug-in digital I/O devices. Equipped with two 37 pin connectors, the 765530-01 can be easily used in conjunction with shielded cables, offering excellent performance with minimal noise. The front end of the device features a female 37 pin spring terminal connection, while the back end is equipped with a female 37 pin DSUB connector type. As a result, this versatile terminal block is able to effortlessly connect two devices that feature corresponding connectors

The “37 Pin” specification of the 765530-01 refers to the individual metal contacts of the connectors, which are intended to offer a dependable and secure connection between the NI hardware and additional devices. The female classification of these connector pins for the terminal block is because they fit within the connector housing, as opposed to protruding from it like a male connection type. 

The spring terminal connector of the 765530-01 terminal block operates similarly to a screw terminal type, but it automatically clamps together without the use of screws to tighten connections. The DSUB connection on the other end of the block is an industry standard. Designed to withstand a wide range of environmental conditions, this terminal block has a peak voltage of 42.4 V, and can handle a maximum power draw of 2 amps.
