National Instruments 777687-01 Terminal Block
National Instruments part number 777687-01 is an identifying part number for the SCXI-1300 Terminal Block. This is a general-purpose terminal block with an onboard temperature sensor. This model allows users to connect input signals to the SCXI-1102 Series, SCXI-1104, and SCXI-1100 modules. Additionally, it is compatible with the SCXI-1181K and SCXI-1300 modules. The NI 777687-00 is designed for easy mounting to the front of SCXI modules. It features a 96-pin DIN output connector for connection to the SCXI module. The integrated cold-junction sensor on this Terminal Block operates with an accuracy of 1.3 °C from 0 to 50 °C and has a repeatability of ±0.5 °C. The sensor outputs 10 mV/°C, ranging from 0 to 0.5 V over the temperature range of 0 to 50 °C.
Using a 32-channel SCXI module with the 777687-00 Terminal Block allows users to connect signals via screw terminals. This model has 32 pairs of screw terminals to connect to an SCXI module's 32 differential inputs. It also features two screw terminals for connecting to the module's functional chassis ground pins. For safety, the SCXI-1300 includes a solder lug as a chassis ground.
Additional screw terminals are provided to connect to the SCXIbus GUARD, the SCXI module OUTPUT, and the SCXI module AOREF. The National Instruments 777687-00 is a compact device measuring 49.3 x 4.3 x 18.8 cm and is designed to operate within a wide temperature range.
