National Instruments 778241-01 Terminal Block

The part number 778241-01 is a terminal block assembly with a printed circuit board, 62 screw terminals, and a plastic enclosure featuring a strain relief. It connects directly to the front panel of National Instruments E Series and waveform generation devices, eliminating the need for an external cable. Moreover, this terminal block allows for easy connection of analog input, analog output, counter-timer, and digital I/O signals to your National Instruments device. The 62 screw terminals provide access to every pin on the device, except for some common digital ground signals. It also includes a shielded strain-relief to secure your I/O wires and ensure a proper chassis-ground connection. 

The NI 778241-01 is not intended for input voltages above 42 V. Even with a voltage divider that reduces the voltage to within the input range of the DAQ device, input voltages over 42 V can damage the Terminal Block, connected devices, and the host computer. Overvoltage can also pose an electric shock hazard to the operator. National Instruments has declared obsolete status for the part number 778241-01, however, it is still available for purchase and repairs at the Apex Waves Website.
