National Instruments 778839-01 Terminal Block 

National Instruments part number 778839-01 is an identifying part number for the TB-2635, a PXI Module Terminal Block. The 778839-01 is 2-Wire PXI Module Matrix Terminal with a Screw Terminal Front Connection Type. The terminal block is designed to facilitate the routing required to configure the PXI-2529 PXI Matrix Switch Module as a 2-wire 8×16 matrix. It can be directly connected to the front panel I/O connectors of the PXI-2529. The 778839-01's screw terminals provide easy access to the rows and columns of the matrix. 

The 778839-01 Terminal Block includes an integrated strain-relief bar and a safety ground lug for secure and reliable connections. It comes with a pair of jackscrews to ensure a firm connection between the Terminal Block and the Matrix Switch Module. Designed for CAT I systems, this terminal block is capable of carrying signals up to 150 V and is tested to withstand surge or impulse voltages up to 800 V. Installation is easy to do on your own and doesn't require expert help.

The 778839-01 terminal block allows for easy expansion by connecting multiple blocks together using bare wire. To expand module columns, users can connect one end of the bare wire to a row screw terminal on one 778839-01 and the other end to the corresponding row screw terminal on another block. This process can be repeated for each row, and additional blocks can be connected by attaching another bare wire to the same row screw terminal.

The 778839-01 is compatible with bare wire and ribbon cables, providing users with the flexibility to choose the best connection method for their specific application. By using multiple terminal blocks and switch modules, users can significantly increase the connectivity and functionality of their system, making it suitable for complex switching applications.
