National Instruments 782403-01 PXI Module Terminal Block 

National Instruments part number 782403-01 is an identifying part number for the TC-4353 a PXI Module Terminal Block. The NI 782403-01 is designed for use with the PXIe-4353 PXI Temperature Input Module. This device is a precise thermocouple input module that supports up to 32 thermocouple inputs, making it suitable for various temperature measurement tasks. It includes 8 cold-junction compensation (CJC) channels to enhance accuracy. The part number 782403-01 measures the temperature of nearby thermocouple junctions using these CJC channels. Thermistors on this Terminal Block are used to measure the CJC temperature for specific thermocouple channels.

When the Thermocouple channel type is set to built-in for the CJC source, NI-DAQmx automatically links the correct thermistor with the thermocouple measurements. This Terminal Block is designed for high-accuracy cold-junction temperature measurements in various conditions. To achieve the best accuracy, it is important to handle the module with care. Installing the 782403-01 is easy. First, mount it in the rack by installing and tightening the four rack-mounting screws in the chosen position. If the PXIe chassis is not yet in the rack, attach the rack-mount hardware to the NI PXIe chassis following the hardware instructions. Then, place the PXIe chassis in the rack at the desired location. When installing the module, ensure both edges fit within the guides and that the module components do not touch adjacent modules. 

The NI 782403-01 has eight thermistors that measure the temperature of nearby thermocouple junctions for cold-junction compensation (CJC). These thermistors use the CJC channels on the NI PXIe-4353 module to measure the CJC temperature for specific thermocouple channels.
