National Instruments CB-50 I/O Connector Block

The NI CB-50 (Part Number: 776164-90) is a termination accessory with 50 screw terminals. This I/O Connector Block offers an easy connection of field input/output signals to NI 6527 and NI 650x devices. The CB-50 comes equipped with one 50-pin header. This header makes the direct connection to 50-pin cables possible. For the safe mounting on either a DIN rail or on a panel or wall, the CB-50 comes with a unique protective base. With this I/O Connector Block, the user can easily connect digital/analog signals to various National Instruments DAQ (data acquisition) boards as well.

The installation of this termination accessory is quite simple and straightforward. The user can easily plug the ribbon cable into the 50-pin connector provided on the rear panel of the board. For additional safety, the keyed connectors are incorporated in this system. This Connector Block can be used with a pair of rack-mount and flush-mount brackets.

The CB-50 Connector Block is offered in three versions: with 1 m cable assembly, with 0.5 m cable assembly, and without cable assembly. The removal of the NI CB-50 requires no tool whatsoever. The user can easily remove the Connector Block by pressing down on the ejector's ears. The ribbon cable can also be disengaged from the board with a rocking motion.

This model is compatible with numerous Macintosh and PS/2 boards, such as NB-MIO-16, NB-DIO-24, NB-TIO-10, MC-DIO-32F, MC-MIO-16, etc. for rail-mount installation. The left and the right end of the CB-50 can easily be pried off and replaced with the rail-mount brackets.
