NI TB-4300B Terminal Block

The TB-4300B (part numbers: 781338-02 and 194956-02L) is a Terminal Block manufactured by National Instruments. Designed for use with the PXIe-4300 Analog Input Module, this versatile accessory operates with an attenuation ratio of 30:1 and an input impedance of 1.2 MΩ. NI-DAQmx drivers and LabVIEW application tools can be used to program the NI PXIe-4300 module and the NI TB-4300B to meet the needs of various applications. Equipped with screw terminal wiring, the maximum wiring gauge of the block is 1.31 mm2 (16 AWG).

The NI TB-4300B safeguards against voltage faults with a maximum fault voltage protection of 300 Vpk. The terminal block features input voltage ranges of ±30, 60, 150, and 300 Volts. Designed with an attenuator tolerance of 0.05%, this block is evaluated with a temperature coefficient of 5 ppm/°C for attenuators.

Physically, the NI TB-4300B measures dimensions of 5.10 in x 6.02 in (12.95 cm x 15.28 cm) and weighs a total of 21.8 oz (618 g). The operating environment for the device includes a temperature range of 0 to 55 °C and a noncondensing relative humidity range of 10% to 90%. When not in use, the specifications for the storage environment of the device include an ambient temperature range spanning from -40 °C to 71 °C and a noncondensing relative humidity range of 5% to 95%. These environmental specifications were tested in accordance to the standards of the IEC 60068-2-1, IEC 60068-2-2, and IEC 60068-2-56 specifications.

Designed for indoor use only, it is strictly prohibited to use the TB-4300B Terminal Block for connection with signals or Measurement Categories III/IV. It is recommended by the manufacturer NI to calibrate the terminal block once a year.
